Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Simple Screens (a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on simplescreens.co.nz. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. Some are needed for the site to work at all. Others tell us how the site is being used, or whether an advert led to a sale.

Strictly necessary cookies

These keep your cart contents between pages and remember your cookie choice. Without them the cart cannot work. They last as long as the session or the choice needs to.

Analytics and advertising cookies

Google Analytics tells us which pages people read and where they stop, so we can fix the parts that are not working. Google Ads tells us when an advert led to an order. Neither identifies you by name. For visitors in New Zealand these are on by default, and you can turn them off at any time.

Changing your mind

Use the cookie settings link in the footer of every page to turn analytics and advertising cookies off or back on. It takes effect from that moment. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop the cart working.

Third parties

Our payment providers, Stripe and PayPal, set their own cookies when you reach the payment step, and they explain those in their own policies. We do not control them.
